The first layer of this image is an abstract mountain and forest scene covered with two more layers of colour. The attempt is to make the viewer feel relaxed and reflective thinking about their life. The message on the canvas is obvious, but the hope is that this generalization makes the viewer reflect on the person they are today, and how we often turn into the person we needed in our darkest hour. That those traumas do not defeat us, but form us. They make us who we are.
