Death of an Artist
Most will not connect with this image. In my experience red abstract is something that many of us overlook. You have to think of the meaning behind the colour. The way our eyes are drawn into an image or bounce off an image is instinctual. I personally do not force myself to interact with images that do not draw me in. It does not mean that those images are not good works of art, but they are not meant for us. I believe the colour red is an image we learn to use as a symbol of warning, something that draws us to attention. It is unfortunate because the depth of the colour and its ability to increase the intensity of other colours makes it difficult to accept. If you are one of the lucky ones drawn to the colour - you are unique.
