Death of an Artist Collection
It's Not The Work That Will Keep You From Being Forgotten
Death of an Artist
This image is about the colour. Yes, it has a deeper meaning, and again the title may be distracting. The words I have written on the canvas are the opening sentences of one of my first novels. The book is called "Influence Over Fate". The opening lines are: "In the beginning he was me, I was him. I had wished for and dreamt about, everything he already knew would happen." The story is about a man reflecting on his life in music. How he and his bandmate were tied together as brothers. The main character recounts the story of their band and how his friend was confident and certain about their success. He was not certain, but his friend has long passed away. He is now left remembering a life where his best friend had so much to do with his success. He feels both grateful and sad. Wondering who he would be were it not for this powerful force that helped him lead an amazing life.
