Death of an Artist Collection
If This Doesn't Look Like A Tree To Everyone Else It's No Wonder I Can't Navigate The Forest
Death of an Artist
This is the first fully abstract piece. This piece was created over a drawing of a large oak tree. The movement, areas of dark brown in the under painting and flow are a tree. The artist plants a tree or perennial in his garden that represents the passing of special people in his life. This is the intention of this piece. It puts Joseph Ross, a purely abstract artist, to rest. This is the final piece of the show. It is the end of something that has lived with the artist for almost 30 years, although he believes he was an artist at birth so after 51 years, the artist is at rest. What does not sell at the end of this evening will be destroyed...
