Death of an Artist Collection
How Will I Be Remembered, Will Anyone Hear My Voice
Death of an Artist
The colours are calm and plaintive or contemplative tones. The first layer is an abstract mountain scene and the second and third layers are abstractions. There are two seashells in the paint. Seashells make noise when you put them to your ear. The noise is an echo of what the shells have been exposed to. The bottle cap and shredded paper are discarded items which as artifacts echo the theme.
