Don't Rest On Your Laurels

Don't Rest On Your Laurels

Death of an Artist

The title of this came to me very early in developing this series. However, this is one of the final pieces I developed. I used Laurel and Hardy images, but this is not about them. I have been driven to achieve. This expression is one that is very meaningful and something I think about often. As we get older there is a tendency to want to slow down. To feel as if we have done something. I think allowing ourselves the luxury of stopping is dangerous.
