The figures are all working in a variety of industries using a variety of tools in roles from artistic to technical. The works require inspection and contemplation and reflect the tension between the desire to be free and the desire to accomplish goals. The image is devoid of people being people which is why the ee cummings quote is apt and pushes a message forward. The message is one of being versus doing.
